Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students from pre-kindergarten through third grade. This full-time role provides specialized Speech-Language Pathology services within a school setting for a maternity leave coverage. Collaborating closely with educators, families, and staff, you’ll play a key part in fostering communication skills and academic success for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Early childhood or elementary school experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech-language assessment and intervention best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize a varied caseload and work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in preK through 3rd grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative support, both one-on-one and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare timely progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student needs
  • Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress and strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with current best practices and requirements in school-based speech-language services
