Job Description
Step into an impactful contract opportunity working with preschool and elementary students in the Blue Ridge, GA area. This role centers on supporting students ages 3 through 5th grade across two to four school sites, offering a vibrant caseload within both early education and elementary settings. You’ll collaborate with a supportive school team to provide high-quality speech-language services throughout the academic year.
This position offers approximately 24 hours per week, working three days weekly from late July through May. Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credential (required)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations (2-4 sites)
- Skill in managing diverse student caseloads with a focus on individualized care
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement speech-language therapy for students from preschool through 5th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s communication goals
- Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
