Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license for New York State
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and goal setting for elementary-aged children
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Passion for supporting student development and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document student progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting as students’ needs evolve
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and caregivers
