Job Description
Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting middle school students as a contract Occupational Therapist working with a dedicated and collaborative educational team near Seattle, WA. In this school-based setting, you’ll bring your expertise to an engaged caseload—helping students achieve their fullest potential in both their academic and daily lives. This assignment runs from September 3, 2027, through January 3, 2027, offering a clear schedule of three days weekly, averaging 21 hours, and working with around 40 students.
Qualifications:
- Active ESA Certificate required
- Valid Washington State DOH OT license
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Compassion and commitment to supporting student growth
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to middle school students, adapting approaches for individual needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document and track evaluations, goals, and progress in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
