We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Physical Therapist (DPT) to join a growing outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized plans of care, implementing evidence-based treatment interventions, performing re-evaluations, discharge planning, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, communicating with referring providers, and supervising support staff as appropriate.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
Provide evidence-based treatment interventions for orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
Conduct re-evaluations and discharge planning.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with APTA standards and payer requirements.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), technicians, and students as appropriate.
Educate patients on diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs (HEP), wellness, and injury prevention.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, mentorship programs, and continuing education.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current Texas Physical Therapist License (or eligibility for licensure).
Current CPR Certification.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment.
2-5 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
Manual Therapy experience.
Sports Medicine experience.
Strong interpersonal and patient relationship skills.
Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
