This full-time contract opportunity involves providing coverage for a leave of absence from August 10 through September 22, supporting high school students with diverse speech and language needs. Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Prior experience in a school setting, high school caseload preferred
  • Background in pediatric/teen SLP assessment and intervention
  • Familiarity with delivering SLP services within IEP frameworks
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic about supporting adolescent learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students
  • Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs), documenting progress and updating goals
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication strategies across learning environments
  • Consult with families to promote carry-over of skills into home and community settings
  • Participate in meetings regarding student progress and service planning
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations
