This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on learners of all ages while working alongside a dedicated team of educational professionals. Starting August 10, 2026, and continuing through May 21, 2027, your expertise will help students succeed both academically and personally.
Ideal candidates are licensed Occupational Therapists in Illinois with a valid PEL credential, bringing enthusiasm and commitment to serving a diverse student community.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and across multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Manage a district-wide K-12 caseload (exact student numbers to be determined)
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to enhance students’ educational access, motor skills, and participation
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student outcomes
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
