Ideal candidates are licensed Occupational Therapists in Illinois with a valid PEL credential, bringing enthusiasm and commitment to serving a diverse student community.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and across multiple school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

• Manage a district-wide K-12 caseload (exact student numbers to be determined)
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to enhance students’ educational access, motor skills, and participation
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student outcomes
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
