HVAC Level 4 Technician

Role: HVAC Technician Level 4

Location: Brownsville, Tx

Employment Type: 13 week contract to hire

Hours: 7am - 5:30pm (Sun - Thurs, or Thurs - Sat)

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and equipment
\n
• Lead and coordinate HVAC technicians and contractors
\n
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
\n
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
\n
• Support BAS and controls-related troubleshooting
\n
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
\n
• Support commissioning, startup, and system optimization efforts
\n
• Review completed work for quality and compliance
\n
• Coordinate with facilities and operations teams
\n
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation
\n
• Support critical facility operations as needed
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 8+ years of HVAC experience
\n
• Previous Lead Technician, Foreman, Supervisor, or Crew Lead experience required
\n
• Strong troubleshooting mindset
\n
• Strong commercial or industrial HVAC background
\n
• Chiller experience required
\n
• Experience with RTUs, chillers, VRF systems, and commercial HVAC equipment
\n
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
\n
• 480V experience required
\n
• 4160V experience a plus
\n
• Ability to think outside the box and develop temporary solutions when needed
\n
• Strong customer service and communication skills
\n
• Stable work history (avoid excessive job hopping unless contract-based)
\n
• Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
\n
• EPA Certification required
\n
