Expected Work Schedule

This is a full-time role.

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Some holidays will be mandatory

Compensation

  • Starting at $22-34/hour, based on experience
Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the Internal Medicine team, you will actively participate in delivering advanced specialty care and supporting diagnostic procedures. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with ultrasounds, endoscopies, and other imaging techniques
  • Providing technical support for internal medicine diagnostics and treatments
  • Helping with our radioactive I131 program for hyperthyroid cats
  • Communicating clearly and empathetically with clients about their pets' care
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Managing appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with timely referral documentation
  • Cross-training and supporting the Cardiology department as needed

Who We Are Seeking:

  • Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT), or an experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Previous experience or interest in Internal Medicine or specialty care
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • A team-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with ultrasound and endoscopy procedures is advantageous
  • Comfortable using veterinary software systems
  • A compassionate, proactive, and collaborative approach to veterinary care
