This direct hire position seeks a highly skilled clinical pharmacist to provide expert oncology care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medication management, including lab test ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event management.
  • Verify chemotherapy orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and patient safety.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, manage side effects, and support medication adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with providers and nurses during clinical rounds to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug management, and contribute to the development of oncology protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
  • Eligibility to obtain California pharmacist license.
  • PGY2 oncology residency or fellowship, OR PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a clinical oncology specialist, OR 5 years’ clinical oncology specialist experience.
  • Board certification in oncology (BCOP) preferred.
  • Proven advanced clinical expertise in oncology pharmacy practice (beyond staffing experience).

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, day shifts.
