Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- California State license for SLP practice is a must
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
- Experience working with children in an educational environment and delivering individualized support is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, faculty, and families
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills that support student progress in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students in a 1:1 format
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans targeting student-specific goals related to speech, language, social communication, and literacy
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and service logs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student development and educational success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions
- Stay up to date on best practices in school-based SLP services and implement effective interventions
