Job Description

Step into a rewarding role making an impact in the lives of students across two vibrant educational sites, serving grades K–8 and 6–8, in a dynamic, supportive school setting. This contract opportunity spans from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar. The position offers full-time hours (7:15 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday) and begins just before the school year gets underway, with students starting on August 3.

In this position, you'll oversee speech services for approximately 90 students, including preschoolers receiving speech-only services, a general K–8 and 6–8 population, and students in a mild cross-categorical classroom. Beyond direct services, you'll have the opportunity to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing mentorship while collaborating with a multidisciplinary school team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of, or eligibility for, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidacy
  • Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Comfort with both general education and mild cross-categorical caseloads
  • Experience or willingness to supervise support personnel (SLPA)
  • Proficiency using Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs) and online meeting/digital scheduling tools

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy for diverse student needs
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
  • Oversee and mentor an SLPA in daily activities and student intervention

You will be welcomed into a collaborative educational community, where your expertise will shape brighter futures for students and support peers through mentorship. If you’re excited to use your clinical and leadership skills to foster student success, submit your application today and take the next step in your school-based SLP career.
