Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a contract provider working with K-12 students in a school-based Physical Therapy setting near Oklahoma City, OK. As an itinerant professional, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential, supporting a wide range of ages and needs. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent 35-hour workweek during the academic year, starting August 12, 2026, and ending June 18, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Oklahoma Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but highly motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, faculty, and families
- Adaptability for itinerant assignments across multiple campuses
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative PT services to K-12 students according to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop data-driven intervention plans
- Collaborate with IEP teams to create and adjust therapeutic strategies
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
