Job Summary
A Greenville, SC legal services team is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case preparation and discovery through trial support.
The Litigation Paralegal will work in a professional, team-focused environment where organization, responsiveness, accuracy, and strong client service are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and other litigation events by organizing case materials and supporting legal strategy.
- Draft, file, and serve legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, responses, and related pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from statutes, case law, legal articles, records, and other sources.
- Manage physical and electronic case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Coordinate discovery, including document production, evidence review, and communication with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits, preparing witness lists, coordinating logistics, and maintaining organized case documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Greenville, SC.
