This opportunity seeks two skilled pharmacists to support a suburban hospital near Denver, Colorado. If you hold a Colorado pharmacist license and have a solid background in pharmacy practice, this contract position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully in either an inpatient or outpatient oncology setting.

Positions Available:

  • Inpatient Pharmacist: work variable days and afternoon shifts, managing medication therapies within a hospital setting.
  • Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist: support cancer patients on day shifts by ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Collaborating closely with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and prescriptions.
  • Educating patients and staff on medication usage and safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Colorado pharmacist license required.
  • Demonstrated experience in inpatient or oncology pharmacy practice.
  • Familiarity with EPIC system preferred.
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Schedule:

  • Position 1: Variable days and afternoons
  • Position 2: Day shifts
