Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Retail Pharmacist delivering medication services in the Washington, Pennsylvania area. This per diem position starts on August 7th and offers consistent first-shift hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, utilizing Pioneer software to support workflow and accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing medications with accuracy and safety under manager supervision
- Counseling and advising patients on medication regimens to promote effective use
- Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally in line with organizational policies
- Maintaining accurate stock levels, controlled drug records, and inventory management
- Resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage to enhance service quality
Qualifications and experience required:
- A current, active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating sound knowledge of pharmacy operations
