Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Dietitian for a full-time staff augmentation assignment in Bristol, RI. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing individualized nutrition care plans, delivering medical nutrition therapy, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical nutrition expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on evidence-based nutrition practices.
Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
• Stay current with evidence-based nutrition guidelines and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) State License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
