Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license issued by the state of Texas
  • Open to SLPs holding the CCC or those seeking their CFY
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work effectively with students ranging from elementary to junior high ages
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-based mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, language, articulation, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student needs are met
  • Maintain up-to-date records and provide clear documentation of services
  • Support the educational team by participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insights
