This full-time position covers a maternity leave assignment, serving students in PreK through 3rd grade. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain before assignment)
- Prior experience within a school setting, especially with PreK-3rd grade, preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with early learners and supporting their developmental needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to children in PreK-3rd grade
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to foster success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in team meetings
- Adapt interventions to diverse student learning styles and needs
