Legal CashierCastleford, West YorkshireUp to £35,000 | Office BasedTSR Legal is delighted to be working with a specialist law firm in West Yorkshire that is looking to appoint a Legal Cashier to join its established finance team based in Castleford.This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment and is looking to join a well-respected firm with a strong reputation in its specialist field.While experience within a Personal Injury practice would be advantageous, applications are welcomed from Legal Cashiers who have worked across other areas of law and have a solid understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.The RoleYou will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the firm's finance function, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Responsibilities will include:Processing client and office account transactionsPosting receipts and paymentsManaging electronic bank payments and transfersPerforming daily bank reconciliationsHandling client account queriesProcessing CHAPS, BACS and Faster PaymentsAssisting with billing and completion statements where requiredEnsuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts RulesSupporting the wider finance team with month-end procedures and ad hoc dutiesAbout YouTo be successful, you will have:Previous Legal Cashier experience within a law firmA sound understanding of the Solicitors Accounts RulesStrong attention to detail and excellent numerical skillsThe ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectivelyA proactive and team-focused approachExperience within a Personal Injury firm would be beneficial but is not essentialThe OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist law firm that values its people and offers a supportive working environment.
