Water Hygiene Technician Location: Watford (within a 20-mile radius)Salary: Up to £35,000 per annumWe're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected provider of water hygiene compliance services for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business that values quality, professional development, and delivering exceptional service to clients across a variety of sectors.The Role As a Water Hygiene Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance and monitoring tasks to help clients remain compliant with Legionella control regulations.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systemsShowerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfectionCold water storage tank cleaning and disinfectionInspecting water systems, including cold water storage tanks and calorifiersThermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) inspections and servicingBasic remedial plumbing works, including removing dead legs and small water system modificationsCollecting water samples for microbiological analysisInspecting domestic hot and cold water systems to identify potential compliance issuesCompleting all work in line with company procedures and health & safety standardsCommunicating effectively with clients and site personnel regarding work progressReporting any issues or additional remedial requirements promptlyMaintaining a professional approach while representing the business on client sitesWorking closely with internal teams to identify further remedial opportunities where requiredWhat We're Looking For Previous experience within water hygiene or Legionella monitoringStrong technical understanding of domestic hot and cold water systemsGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadFull UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer Salary of up to £35,000, depending on experienceCompany vehicleMobile phoneLaptopAll specialist equipment and PPE providedVehicle recovery serviceOngoing training and career developmentHealth & Safety training and professional supportSupportive working environment with opportunities to progressIf you're an experienced Water Hygiene Technician looking to join a reputable business with excellent support and long-term career opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
