Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Manager looking to take the next step with a well-established distribution business? We're recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) to lead a busy warehouse operation, driving performance, safety and service across the night shift.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading a team through Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensuring the shift runs safely, efficiently and delivers outstanding service levels. You'll play a key role in maintaining high operational standards while motivating and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational targets.
\n
• Ensure orders are picked, loaded and despatched accurately and on time.
\n
• Drive productivity and performance through KPIs and continuous improvement.
\n
• Manage attendance, performance and employee development.
\n
• Deliver regular shift briefings and team engagement activities.
\n
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and warehouse standards.
\n
• Champion a strong health & safety culture, completing audits and investigations where required.
\n
• Work closely with transport, stock control and wider operations teams to ensure smooth shift performance.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience leading teams within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
\n
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
\n
• Experience managing KPIs and driving operational performance.
\n
• A proactive, organised and hands-on leadership style.
\n
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
\n
• A strong focus on health & safety and continuous improvement.
\n
• The ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-moving operation.
