CIAM Consultant (Customer Identity & Access Management)London (Hybrid)Salary: Up to £60,000Were supporting a leading global technology consultancy as they continue to expand their Security practice with an experienced Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Consultant.This is a specialist CIAM opportunity not a general IAM role suited to someone with hands-on experience designing and delivering customer identity solutions within complex enterprise environments.Youll work closely with clients to deliver secure, seamless identity experiences, helping organisations manage millions of customer identities while balancing security, usability, and regulatory requirements.What youll be doing: Designing and implementing Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutionsTranslating business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical designsAdvising clients on CIAM best practices, governance, and identity strategyWorking with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver identity transformation programmesSupporting modern authentication approaches including passwordless, adaptive authentication, and fraud preventionHelping clients improve identity security while delivering seamless customer experiencesSupporting delivery across complex technology programmes and workstreamsWhat theyre looking for: 3+ years commercial experience within CIAM / Identity & Access ManagementStrong understanding of: Authentication and authorisationFederationIdentity lifecycle managementCustomer identity solutionsHands-on experience with CIAM platforms such as: Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD B2C,Experience delivering technology solutions in client-facing environmentsAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholdersUnderstanding of data privacy regulations including GDPRStrong stakeholder management and problem-solving skillsDesirable experience: Zero Trust security modelsAdaptive authenticationAPI securityIdentity governance frameworksISO 27001 / NIST / COBITCloud platforms, APIs, and directory servicesLeading workstreams or supporting small project teamsWhats on offer: Up to £60,000 (London) / £55,000 (Regional) + benefitsWork on large-scale digital identity transformation programmesExposure to global clients and complex security challengesAccess to industry-leading training and career developmentHybrid working UK locations considered, with occasional office/client visitsTPBN1_UKTJ
