Company Description Culina Logistics is the leading third party logistics business in the UK specialising in chilled warehousing, providing an excellent platform to food and drink manufacturers.At Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired!Job Description Were looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Tilbury, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. Youll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.Shift patterns available4 on 4 off Shifts (Start times between 15:00 18:00 or 18:00 21:00)5 on 3 off Shifts (Start times between 15:00 18:00 or 18:00 21:00)Pay ratesOur HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with basic salaries ranging between£35,499.30 - £44,252.37 basicper annum depending on shift pattern plus overtime and shift allowances with the potential to earn up £52680 with OTE.What youll be doing:Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution CentresDrivers interested in Night shift will predominately be supporting our trunking operation to Culina SitesNo Cage work or TippingReport to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.Take advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in.Qualifications What were looking forValid C+E Licence.Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.Newly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn.No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.Good understanding of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.Additional Information In return for your passion, hard work and determination in providing outstanding service to our customers we offer:All drivers get access to our HAPI benefits platform , including:Employee Assistance ProgrammePension scheme & Life AssuranceCycle to Work schemeGym, wellbeing & eyecare discountsEveryday shopping discountsAviva Digicare WorkplaceFree Will writingLong service awardsLearning & development opportunitiesColleague recognition & Employee of the MonthWhen our staff have passion for what they do they work with more care and attention which is reflected to our clients, Click APPLY NOW to #JoinOurWinningTeam and begin your career todayTPBN1_UKTJ
