Site Agent - HighwaysContract: 12-Month ContractProject: A30 Highways Improvement (Lee Mills to Plymouth)Start Date: OctoberShift Pattern: DaysRates: £400-500 per shift (DOE)The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Site Agent to take the lead on a major highways project along the A30 between Lee Mills and Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-profile civils scheme, overseeing day-to-day site operations while driving safety, quality, and programme performance.You'll lead site teams, manage subcontractors, coordinate resources, and ensure works are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. If you have a strong background in highways, civils, and groundworks and enjoy leading projects from the front, wed like to hear from you.What You'll Be Doing- Leading the day-to-day management of site operations- Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget- Driving compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards- Reviewing and implementing RAMS and safe systems of work- Monitoring progress, resources, and programme performance- Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site teams- Identifying and resolving site challenges to keep the project on trackWhat Were Looking For- Proven experience as a Site Agent on highways projects- Strong background in civils and groundworks- Confident managing subcontractors and multiple site activities- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment- Strong understanding of HSEQ legislation and best practiceEssential Qualifications- CSCS Managers Card (Black or White)- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)Desirable: First Aid at Work qualificationAdditional Health & Safety certificationsIf interested, please apply or contact Martha at or on 07759129756.TPBN1_UKTJ
