Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) EngineerC£57,000SomersetMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join the engineering team at a modern Energy from Waste (EfW) facility in Somerset.As a EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for:Leading the day-to-day management of Electrical and Control & Instrumentation Technicians and apprentices.Planning, coordinating and supervising preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the plant.Managing electrical, control and instrumentation systems, including HV/LV equipment, DCS and CEMS.Coordinating maintenance during planned outages and responding to plant breakdowns when required.Managing contractors and ensuring all work is carried out safely under Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work.Other duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:HNC/ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.Experience working within power generation, Energy from Waste, process manufacturing, heavy industrial or similar environments.Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and industrial instrumentation.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.The offer:The package on offer for this role includes:Salary up to £57,000Pension SchemeHolidaysOther benefitsTo apply:If you are interested in this role please apply via the link below or contact Machaela at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489533030 / for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
