Bursary Support Administrator (2 Positions)£13.42 - £14.11 per hour | Full Time | 37 Hours per Week | Temporary 8 Week ContractStart Date: 24th AugustBased across 2 sites with the Cambridge areas.We are currently recruiting for two Bursary Support Administrators to join our client on an 8 week temporary contract starting 24th August .Working as part of a busy Student Support team, you will be responsible for coordinating the administration of student bursaries, ensuring all applications are processed accurately and in line with funding regulations, policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.Key DutiesCoordinate the administration of student bursary applications from receipt through to allocation.Assess applications by checking supporting documentation and eligibility criteria.Respond to bursary enquiries via email, telephone, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face.Liaise with the Finance department to ensure bursary payments are processed accurately and on time.Maintain accurate, confidential and auditable records using internal systems.Support the review and maintenance of bursary information, policies and procedures.Prepare information relating to bursary appeals and provide administrative support throughout the process.Produce reports on bursary applications, allocations and expenditure against budgets.Ensure students, staff and prospective applicants have access to up-to-date bursary information.Provide front-of-house support within Student Services, responding to enquiries and signposting where appropriate.Assist with wider administrative duties across Student Services during busy periods.Support Open Events as part of a rota.Promote equality, diversity and safeguarding in all aspects of the role.Key Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:A good standard of education including GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).Significant administration experience within a busy environment.Previous customer service experience.Experience using bespoke ICT systems and databases.Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy.Experience maintaining confidential records in accordance with GDPR.A professional, organised and proactive approach to work.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.A genuine interest in supporting and helping customers.Desirable:Level 3 Business Administration qualification.Experience working within a further education or educational environment.Understanding of student support services or bursary funding.Knowledge of referral agencies for young people.Mediation or conflict resolution skills.Additional InformationEnhanced DBS clearance will be required.Flexibility to support occasional evening Open Events as part of a rota.Morgan Parkes Recruitment Ltd operate in the UK and can only process applications from candidates who are currently eligible to live and work in the UK.
