The RoleAs a Finance Assistant, you will be reporting in to the Finance Manager and your duties will include:\n

\n
• Raise and post journals including inter-departmental cross charging
\n
• Raise Sales invoices
\n
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
\n
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for data capture purposes
\n
• Adhoc work within the finance department as require
\n

About YouPrevious experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.To be considered for this role, you must:\n

\n
• Be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience in a similar role
\n
• Be inquisitive, proactive with a passion for learning
\n
• Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
\n
• Have excellent PC skills with good spreadsheet knowledge
\n
• Be self-motivated with the desire to be involved in all aspects of the finance departments work
\n
• Have good communication skills as regular inter-departmental contact will be required
\n
• Confidentiality and discretion are essential
\n
• Have A levels or equivalent
\n
• Ideally be studying AAT or be qualified by experience
\n
