We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Children's Home Manager to lead and develop a brand-new therapeutic children's home in Northumberland. This role is perfect for a leader passionate about creating a nurturing environment that fosters outstanding outcomes for children.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Lead the registration, opening, and ongoing development of the home. \n
- Ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards. \n
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team. \n
- Establish a positive and therapeutic culture focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for children. \n
- Manage budgets, staffing, safeguarding, and quality assurance. \n
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, families, and partner agencies. \n
- Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving an 'Outstanding' OFSTED rating. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). \n
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or experienced senior leader within a children's residential setting. \n
- Strong understanding of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding, and Children's Homes Standards. \n
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills. \n
- Passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
