Business Systems and Data Analyst

Location: Barnsley, UKSalary: £35,000 to £40,000Job Type: Full Time, Office BasedAbout the RoleOn behalf of a prominent manufacturing client, we are looking for a personable and driven Business Systems and Data Analyst to spearhead Business Intelligence within the organisation. This is a key role within a small IT Team where extensive knowledge of Power BI is required, ideally alongside knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle or Sage X3.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and build solid ERP support relationships with external providersInvestigate, develop and implement new ERP functionalityTest, document and define bespoke changes to the ERP systemIncrease EDI efficiencyFirst point of contact for Business Intelligence and ERP queriesProviding training on Power BI, ERP and Electronic Data InterchangeUse data analysis to provide reports to the SMT and maintain data governanceControl licensing for Power BI and the ERP SystemWork with all departments to develop new reports and define current/future business intelligence needsLead (with support) on any ERP and EDI projectsYou WillHave excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).Previous experience of Power BI and SQLBe proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel data management and manipulationPossess ERP experience, ideally within the manufacturing industryEnjoy problem solving and thrive within strict deadlinesBenefitsOnsite parking25 days holiday plus statsHealthcareFriendly and Supportive environmentIf youre interested in learning more about this opportunity, please get in touch with either Craig or Carl or click apply now.
