Part-Qualified Management Accountant

Our client based in Bimringham is looking for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their organisation. This is a hybrid role is paying between £40-45k.

What you'll do:

\n
• Support month-end processes by preparing accurate management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports
\n
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to provide insightful financial analysis that drives performance.
\n
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring all figures are robustly prepared and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
\n
• Utilise PowerBI to analyse event data, identify trends, and present findings that inform business decisions.
\n
• Contribute to the development of internal controls and procedures that enhance efficiency within the finance function.
\n
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
\n
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards throughout all reporting activities.
\n
• Take part in ad-hoc projects aimed at improving systems or processes within the finance department.
\n

What you bring:

\n
• You have completed at least four exams towards your accountancy qualification (such as ACCA or CIMA) and are actively studying towards full qualification.
\n
• Your experience includes working within fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, or third-party logistics sectors where adaptability is key.
\n
• You possess strong analytical skills with proven ability to use PowerBI or similar tools for data visualisation and reporting purposes.
\n
• You demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with both finance colleagues and operational teams.
\n
• You are dependable when it comes to meeting deadlines for month-end tasks and producing accurate management accounts under time pressure.
\n
• You show commitment by supporting junior team members through mentoring or training initiatives within the finance function.
\n
• You are comfortable travelling locally between sites as required for meetings
\n
• You bring sensitivity and empathy when communicating complex information to non-finance stakeholders.
\n
• You are enthusiastic about continuous learning and take advantage of available study support opportunities.
