Accounts & Outsourcing Manager

Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager or Senior Manager opportunity on behalf of our client in Somerset.

Will be working with an impressive client base, involving a mixture of accounts (year end and monthly management reporting), business advisory and ad hoc project work.

\n

\n

Perfect for an ACCA or ACA Qualified individual with strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS102 looking for the next step up in their career.

\n

\n

The Role:

\n

\n

Managing a portfolio of clients

\n

Preparation and review of year end financial statements

\n

Preparation/ review of management accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis

\n

Preparation and review of monthly management reporting packs

\n

Providing commentary and analysis

\n

Budgeting and forecasting

\n

Ensuring all client reporting and payment deadlines are met

\n

Review of VAT returns

\n

Review of monthly journals, prepayments, accruals, and depreciation

\n

Preparation and review of monthly financial reporting packs for review

\n

Identifying areas to improve existing systems & processes

\n

Training junior staff and reviewing their work.

\n

Develop strong relationships with clients including client visits and review meetings.

\n

\n

You:

\n

\n

ACCA or ACA Qualified

\n

Accountancy practice experience

\n

Strong financial and management reporting experience

\n

Excellent working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards

\n

Good communication skills

\n

\n
