Commercial Asbestos Surveyor Up to £42k + Benefits | Cambridge Due to continued growth and the award of a major long-term contract in Cambridge, a new opportunity has arisen with a growing UKAS-accredited Asbestos Management Consultancy and Training Provider. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Asbestos Surveyor looking for long-term stability, a consistent workload and the opportunity to become part of a supportive and well-established team. Whilst the contract is based in Cambridge, the business can also offer regional work where required. Candidates located within a commutable distance of Cambridge are encouraged to apply. The role will involve undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys across a varied commercial portfolio, working closely with clients and site teams to ensure all work is delivered to a high standard. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will: * Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys * Produce accurate survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards * Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures * Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders * Ensure a high standard of reporting and documentation at all times What We're Looking For * Minimum of 3 years' experience carrying out asbestos surveys across commercial properties * BOHS P402 / RSPH Level 3 qualified (additional P403 and P404 is highly desirable!) * Experience undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys * Strong knowledge of current asbestos legislation and industry best practice * Full UK driving licence * Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively * Good IT skills, including experience using TEAMS or similar asbestos management software In return, you'll receive: * Basic salary up to £42,000, with flexibility depending on experience * Company vehicle and fuel card * Company pension scheme * Long-term security and a consistent pipeline of work * Supportive and approachable management team * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Genuine opportunity to grow with an expanding business * A positive working environment where your contribution is valued If you're an experienced Commercial Asbestos Surveyor looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable workload and a respected consultancy, we'd love to hear from you.
