Are you looking to join a large organisation that provides job security, whilst in a highly rewarding role?We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join a global manufacturing business based in Hampshire. Our client is committed to producing high-quality food products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.As the sites facilities engineer, it will be your responsibility to oversee utilities and general site services within a food manufacturing facility. You will need to have a strong electrical engineering background and experience in maintaining plant operations, ensuring compliance, and ensuring that we meet our safety and hygiene standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily meter readings and liaise with suppliers for utilities upkeepConduct daily utility checks and analyse performanceUpdate the utilities service schedule and perform daily boiler checksOperate boilers in accordance with BOAS and conduct absorption chiller operation checksEnsure compliance with all relevant regulationsManaging our wastewater treatment plantOversee MBR & RO Plant Operations, Water Softening Plant, Cooling Tower Operations, and Legionella ControlsConduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly PPM on site services, equipment, and processesMonitor chemical stock levels and reorder supplies as neededExperience required:Electrical engineering qualification17th edition qualifiedKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesFamiliarity with safe working practices and hygiene standards in a food environmentMinimum of 3 years of experience in a site facilities/site servicesYou will be joining a well-established engineering team who cares about their employees career, which will give you the opportunity to upskill/develop. The role is offering £45,000 - £47,000 as a salary + benefits.
