Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for candidates with a practical mindset, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills.The RoleAs a Yard Depot Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the production and manufacturing process within a busy industrial yard environment. This is a hands-on position involving the assembly and maintenance of wooden moulds, casting of refractory concrete blocks, material handling, and general yard duties.Working closely with the wider production team, you will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Yard Depot Operative Key Responsibilities:Assemble wooden moulds for block productionStrip down, clean, and maintain moulds following castingAssist with the casting of precast refractory blocksManufacture and maintain formworkSafely handle and move materials and equipment around the depotOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAssist with loading and unloading deliveriesMaintain a clean, organised, and safe working environmentSupport other production and yard duties as required by supervisorsYard Depot Operative Skills & Experience:Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, production, or industrial environmentsExperience using hand and power toolsGood practical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically demanding roleReliable, punctual, and safety-consciousForklift licence advantageous but not essentialWhat's on Offer?£13.50 per hourPermanent, full-time positionMonday to Friday working hoursNo weekend workingFull training and development providedOpportunity to develop specialist industry skillsLong-term career prospects within a global businessSupportive team environmentWorking Hours39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am - 3:30pmIf you are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a respected international business and enjoy hands-on work in a production environment, we would love to hear from you.BH36311TPBN1_UKTJ
