Role: Senior/Supervising Social Worker
\nBasic Salary: Up to £41,334.38 per annum, depending on experience
\nLocation: Remote, supporting Foster Parents in Kent

As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will:
\n- \n
- Support Foster Parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care. \n
- Monitor the suitability and competence of Foster Parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. \n
- Guide Foster Parents in understanding their roles, responsibilities, and the standards expected of them. \n
- Provide regular supervision to allocated Foster Parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards. \n
- Collaborate with a team to identify needs within the Foster Parent household, including respite and activities. \n
- Ensure compliance with all key documentation for each child and Foster Parent. \n
- Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual care packages. \n
- Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development and community resources. \n
- Participate in an out-of-hours support service and day duty system on a rota basis. \n
- Occasionally conduct initial home visits and Form F Assessments. \n
To thrive in this role, you must have:
\n- \n
- A Social Work qualification \n
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent \n
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports \n
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures \n
- The willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays \n
- Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations \n
- A full driving licence \n
