Occupational Health TechnicianPortsmouth Based£43.46 per Umbrella Inside IR356 Month Contract initially.This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Portsmouth.Typical duties include (but are not limited to):You will be responsible for providing pre-employment medicals and assessmentsUndertake health surveillance screening, including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, HAVS assessmentsUndertake health screening procedures, including blood pressure and urinalysisEnsure all information recorded appropriatelyProvide advice on occupational health and wellbeingKnowledge:Previous Occupational Health Technician or Physiologist experience is essentialIdeally your experience will be within the heavy industry sectorPersonable, confident and able to work autonomouslyProficient IT skillsHave a good understanding of the workplace that the individuals are going into, or have come from.Skills:Ability to view individuals holistically and look at the impact of health on work and work on health for all.Decisions about support/care/onward referral are often needed.Achievement of KPIs and health surveillance complianceAssistance with any OH audits and inspectionsSHE Level 2 PlanAt all times taking into account professional nursing accountabilityCreate and maximise effective working relationships with all individuals; customers and stakeholdersRespond to customer requests and deliver in the best way to meet business and customer requirementsSeek and review customer feedback and demonstrate a proactive response to itFriendly approachProfessional and positive healthcare and SHE attitude to workFor more information please contact Lauren Morley at JAM Recruitment or click apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
