You will work closely with senior management and have the opportunity to influence how projects are planned, resourced and delivered.The Role The Mechanical Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical building services pipework projects.You will manage projects from the initial handover and planning stages through to installation, commissioning and completion.Your responsibilities will include:Taking full ownership of mechanical pipework projectsReviewing specifications, drawings and contractual requirementsProducing project programmes and delivery plansCoordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractorsManaging project budgets, forecasts and variationsMonitoring progress against programme and costLeading client and project meetingsWorking closely with engineers, supervisors and site teamsIdentifying technical or commercial risks at an early stageEnsuring installations meet the required quality standardsMaintaining strong health and safety performanceManaging commissioning, completion and handoverDeveloping positive relationships with clients and the wider supply chainProjects will involve a range of mechanical pipework systems within building services environments.
