You will work across a diverse fleet of plant machinery, engines, and specialist equipment in a supportive, hands-on workshop environment.The Company:We are working with a leading specialist engineering contractor, providing innovative solutions on technically challenging civil, geotechnical, and structural projects across the UK.The Role:You will focus on routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of workshop equipment.Day to day you will:Carry out routine servicing, basic mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on workshop plant.Work across a broad mix of machinery, including small engines, compressors, track dumpers, excavators, hydraulic drills, and winches.Assist senior fitters with basic fault diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Accompany senior fitters on occasional site visits to gain hands-on field experience.Record service and maintenance activity accuratelyThe Individual:We are open to candidates from a variety of mechanical backgrounds.
