Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting for Refuse Collectors for our client based in Bacup.Youll be working as a Refuse Collector, supporting household, commercial and industrial waste collection in Bacup.This role is physically demanding and involves outdoor work in all weather conditions.Key Duties:Collecting household, commercial and industrial waste from various locationsLoading waste into collection vehiclesReturning bins to collection pointsEmptying public litter binsCollecting bulky items (e.g. furniture, carpets)Separating recyclable and non-recyclable materialsHandling potentially hazardous waste safely (e.g., chemicals, medical waste).Requirements:Physically fitComfortable working outdoors in all weatherBe able to start work early in the morningAble to follow safety procedures and risk assessmentsExperience is preferred but not essential.The usual working hours are Tuesday to Friday 6.45am-4.30pm but the shifts may be ad hoc.The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.TPBN1_UKTJ
