We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Eastern County Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities across our residential services, helping teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that improves quality of life and reduces restrictive practices.Promoting Quality of LifeEnsure the voice of each adult remains central to all assessment, planning and support activity.Inspire and support teams to reduce restrictive practices through proactive strategies and meaningful quality of life outcomes.Build effective working relationships with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for adults.Support PBS Coaches and teams to capture, review and evidence outcomes in ways that contribute to organisational learning and good practice.Values LedEastern County Care values in everyday practice and ensure support for individuals and teams remains values led.Champion Positive Behaviour Support principles across Eastern County Care in a creative, consistent and professional way.Ensure all governance processes are followed in the support provided to PBS Coaches and operational teams.Making Systems WorkDeliver practice-related training and guidance to help teams support adults effectively and confidently.Provide effective practice leadership across the services, both proactively and during periods of change, challenge or service development.Provide mentoring and guidance to teams to ensure strategies align with legislation, best practice guidance and organisational policy.Understanding Behaviour and Meeting NeedsProvide support, mentoring and guidance across Eastern County Care in relation to ongoing PBS practice, including supervision and support with Functional Behaviour Assessments and the development of Positive Behaviour Support Plans where required.Support colleagues and adults through the development and review of Positive Behaviour Support Plans, offering consultation to staff teams, verbal and written feedback, and liaison with internal specialist services and external professionals where appropriate.Promote reflective practice and strengthen analytical skills within teams and PBS Coaches to support consistent, evidence-informed practice.Essential Criteria:A recognised Positive Behaviour Support qualification, such as the CAPBS Coaches AwardA minimum of one years experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar PBS coaching roleTPBN1_UKTJ
