Mechanical FitterC£60,000WrexhamMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter for Substation projects.As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:follow all substation safety rules, permits, and isolation procedures.Install and assemble mechanical equipment and steelwork.Maintain and repair transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear mechanisms.Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, and corrosion.Carry out fault-finding and replace defective mechanical components.Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.Use lifting equipment and rigging gear safely.Support testing and commissioning activities.Complete maintenance records and inspection reports.Maintain good housekeeping and environmental standards.Work safely around high-voltage equipment and follow PPE requirements.Communicate effectively with engineers, electricians, and site teamOther duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:Time spent Mechanical Fitter experienceWorking on steel clamps and 132 Isolation if possibleSubstation experience requiredThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.The offer:The package on offer for this role includes:Salary up to £60,000 depending on experienceCompany PensionEmployee discountLife insuranceHoliday schemeTo apply:If you are interested in this role please apply via the link below or contact Machaela at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489533030 / for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
