Security Consultant H&PS (Health & Public Sector)Location: Flexible, UK (with client travel) Career Level: Consultant Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience?? Important eligibility requirement: Due to the nature of this role, candidates must hold sole British nationality at the point of application. As part of a large global network, they offer access to cutting-edge technologies, extensive training, and genuine opportunities for career growth in an inclusive, innovation-driven culture.In this role you'll learn:How to identify and deploy innovative security solutions to real-world problems across a variety of industriesHow to work with clients and internal stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines, providing expert input and influencing the design of large, complex IT solutionsHow to apply risk methodologies, advising stakeholders on risk mitigationHow to work with a wide range of security technologies, including new and emerging techAs a Security Consultant, you will:Design security architectures for a range of IT solutions, including large digital transformation programmesProvide advisory support on complex transformation programmes shaping the future of the UK public sectorAdvise clients on regulatory compliance (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS)Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders on secure design solutions and IT risk mitigation strategiesSolve challenging security problems through research and innovationIdentify security vulnerabilities in system architectures and articulate these in risk termsWe're looking for experience in:A passion for improving the UK public sector's security postureStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk managementExperience applying security technologies to architectures and solution designs (e.g. Privileged Access Management, SSO, IDAM, network security, encryption)Understanding of IT infrastructure, technical concepts and design methodologiesUnderstanding of threat modelling and reference architecture developmentAbility to learn and adapt quickly; hands-on network and/or cloud security experience preferredSABSA/CISSP or similar certification preferredCurrent government security clearance or the ability to gain clearance preferredWhat's in it for youCompetitive basic salary plus an extensive benefits package30 days' holiday per yearPrivate medical insurance3 extra days' leave per year for charitable work of your choiceFlexibility and mobility are required for this role, as there may be occasional requirements to spend time onsite with clients and partners.TPBN1_UKTJ
