Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Milwaukie, OR is seeking two Pharmacy Technicians to support their pharmacy operations on a contract basis starting August 3rd. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to effective medication distribution while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Milwaukie, OR
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: At least 4 weeks, with potential for extension
Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other licensed health practitioners
- Provide clear, helpful information to customers regarding their medications and usage
- Maintain a high standard of customer service ensuring patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily workflow and pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) required
- Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently and follow protocols in a team environment
