Pharmacist in Norristown, PA

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations at a 503A compounding facility. In this key leadership role, you will be accountable for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient pharmacy and compounding activities in accordance with all relevant state, federal, FDA, and USP regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses unless otherwise assigned.
• Act as primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure timely reporting of operational, ownership,facility, or leadership changes.
• Oversee all sterile and non-sterile compounding operations and maintain full regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality assurance efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
• Manage daily batch record processes and production scheduling to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and applicable state and federal 503A regulations.
• Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.

Location:

• Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
