Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Hold an active and valid SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working with school-aged children desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations and goal-setting
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Provide education and resources to support staff and caregivers
