Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Hold an active and valid SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations and goal-setting
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Provide education and resources to support staff and caregivers
