Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) | Jefferson, MA | 26/27 School Year

ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Jefferson, MA to hire a full-time Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with an elementary caseload, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students improve their mobility, independence, and access to the classroom.

Position Details

• Location: Jefferson, MA
• Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
• Contract Dates: August 24, 2026 – June 20, 2027
• Caseload: Elementary
• Additional caseload and school assignment details will be discussed during the interview.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy services to students in individual and small group settings based on IEP goals and student needs.
• Conduct evaluations and assist in determining student eligibility for school-based physical therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, motor skills, and functional independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, therapy logs, evaluations, and IEP-related records.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and success within the educational environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding student progress and therapy services.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other special education regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload while providing high-quality, student-centered services.

Compensation & Benefits

• $51-$54/hour, based on experience
