School Occupational Therapist - Goodyear, Arizona

A full-time occupational therapist is sought for a contract opportunity for the 26/27 school year near Goodyear, AZ. This role offers an enriching chance to support either a preschool program or a K-8 developmental program, working with a vibrant group of students and collaborating with dedicated educational staff.

You'll be entrusted with a caseload of approximately 60 students, with the added benefit of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to supervise, ensuring a team-based approach to care. This full-time assignment totals 40 hours per week and begins August 3, 2027. Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
• Ability to supervise and collaborate with COTAs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, individually and in groups
• Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide guidance and oversight for COTA staff
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students’ functional skills to improve classroom participation
