This opportunity seeks two experienced pharmacists to support clinical operations at a hospital in suburban Denver, CO. Both positions offer valuable exposure to hospital pharmacy practice, with options to work in inpatient or specialized outpatient oncology settings. The contract is expected to start ASAP for a duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Position details:

• Inpatient Pharmacist: Variable day and afternoon shifts providing direct medication management and clinical pharmaceutical care within the hospital.
• Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist: Day-shift role focused on outpatient oncology patients, collaborating closely with the oncology care team to optimize pharmacotherapy.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license required
• Proven clinical pharmacy experience, especially in hospital or specialty pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders
• Monitoring patient drug therapies and making clinical recommendations
• Collaborating with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate medication records in accordance with hospital policies
