Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials to work in Illinois schools
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Experience with early childhood, kindergarten, first, or second grade helpful
  • COTAs are not eligible for this position
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide occupational therapy interventions for students in EC, K, 1st, and 2nd grades
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document services and progress according to school and state guidelines
  • Offer professional recommendations to enhance student participation and achievement in school activities
